Quarterly Magazine Issue 3, Spring 2026

23 September 2026

Welcome to our third quarterly magazine for 2026.
Inside you'll find a number of stories and updates from our team, volunteers, events and activities, including our upcoming 50th Jubilee event and the origins of International Day for Older Persons.
Also in this issue, as part of our 50th anniversary, we shine a light on the incredible husband and wife team - Tim and Fiona of Nelson Creative - and learn some insights from behind the scenes of Beyond the Face: the annual exhibit challenging ageism which opens at Founders Park during our 50th Jubilee event.

We hope you enjoy this issue.

Inside you'll find a number of stories and updates about our team, volunteers, events and activities, including our latest eBus outing to Broadgreen House.

Also in this issue, as part of our 50th anniversary, we leap back to 1976 to learn about the visionary thinking that lead to the establishment of Age Concern in Nelson Tasman, and the founding principles that continue to guide our work today.
