This service was set up in 2021, and aims to connect clients and members living at home with affordable services.

We have a number of handypersons, tradespeople, gardeners and hairdressers on our books who have been screened by us. We take the worry out of finding someone reputable and trustworthy to help you out at home – whether it’s weeding and mowing the grass, changing lightbulbs, or providing some personal care.

Age Concern Nelson Tasman's new Care & Repair Digital Portal is arriving in late September 2026.

The portal provides direct access to a network of trusted local service providers who share our commitment to supporting older people to live safely and independently at home. While the new portal offers greater convenience and choice, our traditional phone referral service will remain available free of charge, ensuring support is accessible in the way that suits you best.
