Are you curious about what’s happening with the new bus depot in Nelson? Come along for our next semi-guided eBus journey and you’ll get a sneak peek as we explore Nelson’s new Bus Hub at Millers Acre, the future heart of public transport in the Nelson City.

Starting in Wakefield (with a pickup in Brightwater), we’ll travel into the city for a special guided tour, afterwards we’ll relax with a drink at the lovely River Kitchen Café, right beside the river and just a short stroll from the hub.

This trip is part of our All Onboard with Age Concern programme, which helps older people gain confidence and independence using the eBus service across Nelson Tasman.

For many of us, that idea can feel a little daunting, especially if we’re not regular bus users, or if navigating the hospital grounds feels confusing or stressful (and hilly!) Our next journey on 22nd October takes us from Richmond to Nelson Hospital, where we’ll explore not just the bus experience itself but also what happens once you arrive.
