Cooking Classes
Find out more about Age Concern at our Cooking Classes
Age Concern Nelson Tasman’s Cooking Classes are fun and very popular! They target those with limited cooking skills or people who are struggling to adjust to cooking for one. The classes are taken by a qualified chef who is experienced in working with community groups and is passionate about helping people learn new cooking skills. Each class is two hours long and contains a sweet and savoury dish which is then eaten at the end of the session. There is a cost of $30 per course.
Each class of the 6-week course runs on a Monday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Richmond Anglican Church, 27 Dorset Street. Please note this is a new location for 2026. Places fill up so please book in early!
