    Nicola Woodward

    MANAGER

    Nicola Woodward joined the team as Manager of ACNT in early February 2026. Nicola brings a wealth of experience from across Public Health, Local Government, and the Not-for-Profit sector, along with a strong commitment to community-focused service delivery.

  • Liz Gillespie

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Liz joined us in late 2022 and provides a welcoming face to our Richmond Office as well as keeping the office running smoothly. She has been involved in community organisations and charities since 2005 as an employee but has done voluntary work for most of her life.

  • Cat Baker

    SENIOR ELDER ABUSE RESPONSE ADVISOR

    Cat joined our team in November 2025 bringing her background as a nurse, manager and auditor in the health sector. Most recently she’s been working in adult education supporting adult learners undertaking apprenticeships in healthcare.

    Cat loves gardening, cycling and taking her German Shephard for walks. She loves to travel and learn about new cultures.

    Jackie MacIntyre

    COMMUNITY SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR

    Jackie’s role is working at a community level to ensure older people maintain their independence. She runs all our Older Driver workshops, as well as Care & Repair, and brings her upbeat sense of humour to the role.

    Jackie is an avid biker, surf skier and loves getting out in the hills with her dogs.

    Angela Zame

    HOUSING SUPPORT ADVISOR

    Angela joined us in October 2025 in our new housing role for Nelson city. As a qualified occupational therapist and having worked in a variety of community-based rehabilitative settings, mainly with older clients, she brings a rich background and valuable know-how to help create and shape this new role.

    In her spare time she enjoys biking, gardening, nature walks, Pilates, and screen writing.

    ELDER ABUSE RESPONSE ADVISOR

    Jamie is a qualified social worker and brings great skills in case management and working with vulnerable people. He’s passionate about supporting older adults who are facing challenges. A former chef, Jamie still enjoys creating in the kitchen and spending time with his family.

    Tanya Charles

    MOTUEKA OFFICE ELDER ABUSE RESPONSE ADVISOR

    Tanya comes to us with a wealth of experience as a police officer in south-west England, and more recently as a nurse, having done her training when she moved to New Zealand four years ago. She has been working most recently at Alexandra Hospital as a nurse supporting older adults with mental health issues.
