An important update about the future of memberships for Age Concern Nelson Tasman

We are making a small but important change to the way people can support our charitable work. Our current membership model is moving to a simpler supporter model, so that everyone can give in the way that works best for them.

This change helps us stay focused on our charitable purpose: supporting older people to live with dignity, connection and wellbeing. It also means your support can be directed more clearly toward the services, information, advocacy and community connection that older people rely on.

Responding to demand: Supporting continued access to Total Mobility
9 July 2026

We’re making a small change to how we manage Total Mobility (TMS) applications.

Demand for this service has been increasing, alongside growing pressure across our other programmes. To keep the service consistent and manageable, we’re moving to an appointment-based system for applications.

This will allow us to set aside dedicated time to process applications properly, while maintaining delivery across our wider work. Home visits will continue where clients are unable to attend the office.
