Beyond the Face at Richmond Library
After our wonderful exhibition launch at The Granary in Founders Park last month, the Beyond the Face Photo Exhibition has now moved on to Richmond Library for the duration of May 2025.
When we search beyond someone’s face we see the stories — layers of emotions, memories, hopes and humanity. The Age Concern Nelson Tasman Beyond the Face Photo Exhibition delves deep to uncover some of these stories, featuring portrait photography by Tim Cuff with writing by Fiona Terry.
We are showcasing portraits and life stories of 12 older adults living in the region, aiming to challenge society’s perceptions of ageing.
Head along to Richmond Library in May and you’ll find the exhibition towards the back, on the Gallery Wall. While you enjoy the magic of these beautiful photos, we invite you to read the accompanying stories and reflect on the highlights, achievements and insights shared. We encourage you to look past the physical appearances of ageing to see the rich experiences and knowledge each person holds.
