Dedicated eBus routes
To help make this celebration as accessible and inclusive as possible, we have arranged a number of dedicated eBus services for the day.
These chartered routes have been designed to support older people from across Nelson and Tasman to attend the event, including those who may not usually access public transport or who would otherwise find travelling to the venue difficult on the day.
These additional services have been made possible through the generous support of Nelson City Council and Tasman District Council. We will also have a team of volunteer ‘Bus Buddies’ travelling on each route to provide practical assistance, answer questions, and offer a friendly welcome along the way. Whether you're a regular eBus passenger or stepping aboard for the first time, our Bus Buddies will be there to help make the journey comfortable and straightforward.
We encourage anyone considering using one of these services to review the timetable below and choose the route that best suits their location:
