What a wonderful afternoon! Our 2025 International Day of Older Persons celebration truly lived up to its theme Bring Your Sparkle!
Annesbrook Community Church was filled with laughter, music, and plenty of sparkle as 100 guests from across the region came together to celebrate.
Highlights included:
A vibrant live performance by Tamu Domoni, bringing an intergenerational energy that had everyone smiling and singing along.
Confident, joyful performances from the Nelson and Richmond Spin Poi groups — a real crowd favourite!
Delicious food, warm conversation, and a wonderful sense of connection that reminded us why this day matters.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a special celebration of ageing well and community spirit. 💖
