Help Our Sensory Garden Grow!
Have you got green fingers? Do you have a thriving garden with plants aplenty? We need your help!
We're creating a beautiful new sensory garden at our Richmond office, and we'd love your spare plants and cuttings to help get our garden growing.
What we're looking for:
Thyme
Oregano
Trailing Rosemary
Strawberries
Calendula
Violas or Pansies
Chamomile
Chives
Lemon Verbena
Cardoons or Artichokes
If you have any runners, divisions, or cuttings of these lovely plants to spare, we'd be thrilled to give them a new home in our garden where everyone can enjoy them.
Please drop off plants at our office next week
Any of the above plants can be dropped to our office next week on Tuesday 14th October or Wednesday 15th October.
Age Concern - Richmond Office: 62 Oxford Street, Richmond
Every little plant makes a big difference! You can pop back and visit over the years to come and watch your plants grow.

Make a donation
As a small charity we rely on the generosity of our community! Thanks to volunteers, funding, grants and donations a remarkable transformation has taken place at Age Concern Nelson Tasman’s Richmond office with the creation of our beautiful new garden deck. What began as an ambitious idea to enhance our outdoor space has blossomed into a powerful story of community spirit, hands-on learning, and generosity. We welcome any financial donations to support this initiative and our ongoing work empowering older adults to age well in Nelson Tasman.
