Wellby turns 4

This July, we’re celebrating four incredible years of Wellby - a local initiative that’s all about strengthening community connections and helping people feel a sense of belonging. Launched on World Friendship Day, 31 July 2021, by Age Concern Nelson Tasman and Volunteer Nelson, Wellby has grown into a trusted social connection hub in our region.

Learn more … Wellby | Everyone belongs

Wellby has three core elements:

  • Talking Cafés – friendly, informal meetups across the region

  • Signposter Information Sessions – training everyday people to guide others toward support

  • The Found Directory – an easy-to-use online guide to community services and activities

Regular events and a few birthday specials this month!
Throughout July Wellby will continue the usual Talking Cafés, with a few special events added to mark our fourth birthday – and everyone’s welcome!
